Alpha Kappa Chi (AKX for short) is a gender-inclusive professional fraternity focused on environmental sustainability and conservation. AKX prioritizes and promotes professional development, community activism, and brotherhood to help members prepare for and commit to environmentally conscious lifestyles. George Mason’s AKX chapter runs service projects both on campus and around Fairfax County and aims to make a real and impactful difference in our community.
Established at the University of Buffalo in 2011, AKX is a budding fraternity that currently has three active chapters across the United States. Here at George Mason University, we are the Beta Chapter (the second chapter ever established!)
"diligamus nos ipsos et terram."
